Foreign Students

If you wish to attend HHS from a foreign country, we do have approval with SEVIS to help you apply for your student visa. The process does take time, so it is imperative that you sign up as far in advance as you are able. Begin by sending your application with a money order made out in US funds for your deposit, or pay the deposit online through the website. On your application, be certain to give your place of birth, the country that issued your passport, and your birth date with the month written out. Additionally, we need a picture of your passport as well as a letter from you stating that you have enough money to attend school and live in the United States while in school. We will then enter the information on the SEVIS website, which will allow us to print your I-20 form for M-1 student visas. We will send this form to you along with enrollment agreements. You will have to go online and pay an FMJ fee. Once you have done this, you can print the receipt, take the receipt, your enrollment agreement, I-20 form and passport to the US Embassy in your country, and get a student visa. As you can see, this is not a fast process, so please allow plenty of time to get everything done. Foreign students will also have to pay their tuition in full at least 30 days prior to the start date of the class. You can do this with a money order or check made out to Heartland Horseshoeing School in US funds, or through direct bank wire. (There is an additional $40 fee through the bank.) Include the receipt for that payment in your packet to help when you cross the border. The US wants to make sure that anyone entering has sufficient personal resources to be a student in the US. Students choosing to pay their deposit by check or money order may send $1000 and their application to:
